THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTIONS AT A GLANCE

How do I make an enquiry or book a tour?

You can click on the “Enquire here” button below the individual tours and you will be forwarded directly to an email contact form.

You can also call me or send me an email directly, so we can clarify what your expectations are, which tour is suitable for you, which date, and how many participants you are.

Once the details have been finalised and confirmed by you, I will send you a booking confirmation, which is then binding.

You can find more information about my payment and cancellation terms and conditions.

Do the tours take place on foot or by bus?

The tours on offer are walking tours with little or no difference in altitude and are not physically demanding (exception: Blankenese Staircase district, where you should be able to climb stairs relatively easily).

The start and end points of the tours are not always the same, but care is taken to ensure that you can get back to the starting point at the end of the tour. Please contact me if you have any special requests for the start and end points so that I can plan around these. Coach Tours can be organised on request.
I am happy to provide details of transport companies (coach, Minibus, van or chauffeurec limousines). Costs should be paid directly to the supplier.

Do the tours take place in all weathers?

My tours also take place in bad weather. I therefore recommend bringing weatherproof clothing, sturdy shoes and an umbrella. If we are caught in the rain during a tour, I will find a dry place or café to tide us over. However, if the weather is too bad, I will offer an alternative indoor tour. In this case, we should agree in advance and I will be happy to accommodate your wishes. In this case, we should agree in advance and I will be happy to accommodate your wishes.

If you decide to cancel, my terms and conditions still apply

Are my tours public tours?

No, they are not public, i.e. they are by request only, for groups such as families, colleagues, friends, special interest groups, social programmes, corporate clients and event agencies. I can, of course, adapt to fit your individual wishes and cater to your specific needs.

Is the number of participants per tour limited?

There is no minimum number of participants per group. The costs per tour are fixed, regardless of the number of participants. There should not be more than 20 people per group – to ensure that every guest can see and hear everything well. If you are a larger number of people, I can call in a colleague from my network for an additional tour.

Are the costs for the guided tours net or gross?

The costs quoted are gross prices including 19% VAT.
